The first ep of the Czech underground metal hope KRUSADIST "Hydra Cave" is out. This bunch of high school kids play death/thrash and have looked up to legendary bands like DEATH, SLAYER, BLACK SABBATH, CANNIBAL CORPSE. The band recorded the record themselves in GRANDPA CAVE studio (one of the members' grandfather's basement) and the result is a very peculiar, authentic 80's sound.
No frills, no professional sound engineer.
Just pure love for black metal, which is not very popular with young people nowadays, splashes out of this recording in all directions.
